： (Horse, Ancient, China)
Ever since the ancient times, horses have been especially close to man. Domesticating and training horses have greatly influenced people’s lives. In the development of human society, horses have an irreplaceable place: they carry heavy loads; they are loyal and docile; they run at a high speed. Horses not only play an important part in farming, transportation and military, but also enrich people’s entertainment and art creation. More importantly, they have left a great number of precious culture heritages. In the ocean of the ancient relics, horses are often seen. Whether war horses, or saddled horses, or dancing horses, they all demonstrate their spectacular charms and provide a rich imagination for visitors. Exhibition is composed of six parts: The First of Domestic Animals; Domestication and Training; Horses and Transportations; Horses and Wars; Horses and Entertainment; Horses and Art. There are about 100 refined exhibits of horse relics collected by Shaanxi History Museum, and one HD video. In the exhibition, visitors can appreciate and have a better understanding of the culture of horses in Chinese history.
