In about 2000 BC, Chinese nation entered into the period of Xia, Shang and Zhou dynasties, an important development stage which laid a solid foundation for the political concepts and social ethics in Chinese history. Mainly relying on bronze ware dating from the three dynasties, and starting from the sacrificial, war, ritual vessels and musical instruments of different dynasties and vassal states as well as the clothing, food, residing and travelling, the exhibition will display the oracle bone inscriptions, the oldest mature characters of China during this crucial period, the site of the earliest large palace, the earliest pro-porcelain ware, the richest varieties of jade ware and related manufacturing techniques to embody the progress of the Chinese civilization in this period.
